TreesTracker offers users the ability to assign names to their plants and capture an unlimited number of images over time, making it an excellent tool for long-term tracking of plants or trees throughout a growing season or over many years.

With TreesTracker, users can easily retrieve images of their plants without sifting through their camera roll or gallery. For instance, one can quickly compare a photograph of an apple tree taken today with one from two years ago.

All data is stored locally on the user's device, ensuring that internet connectivity is not required, which is particularly beneficial for usage in remote locations. Importantly, no data is collected by TreesTracker; it operates solely for the user's personal use.

While users have the option to share their trees and images, these are never uploaded by the application itself. TreesTracker is designed to be straightforward and enjoyable, avoiding unnecessary complexity.

The process to begin using TreesTracker is simple: users start by adding plants directly from the Home Screen. A single tap on the main button allows for naming and describing the first tree.

Each tree begins with a placeholder image, but users are encouraged to enhance their collection by adding multiple images through the Add Picture icon. The most recent image taken becomes the tree's avatar, and each image's date is recorded, viewable in a scrolling timeline. Users can easily swipe up to remove any unwanted pictures, and tapping on an image in the timeline displays it in detail for easy sharing via email or text message.

Editing a plant's name and details or deleting a tree can be accomplished through icons on each tree's main page. Alternatively, swiping left on a tree in the list provides the option to delete it and all associated images permanently, with confirmation requested before proceeding.

In the unfortunate event that TreesTracker is deleted from a device, all associated data and images will likewise be removed, as the application does not retain any personal information regarding users or their trees.
